Rachael was interested in this campaign because as a mother of two teenage girls she wanted to set an example for them and teach the to love their bodies. Rachael is very critical of herself in pictures so this was a perfect way to show her girls in action rather than just words. Rachael and her husband met I college and have been married for almost nineteen years. She is a licensed professional counselor and has been working in the mental health industry for about seventeen years in various capacities. Rachael is currently serving the State Suicide Prevention Director for the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. In high school Rachael wasn’t always proud of her body but through time she has learned to love all of herself. She is blessed to have been able to have two beautiful girls after being told she could never carry a child for a viable pregnancy term. Everyday that that Rachael is blessed to wake up she chooses to love herself and her body and what it does for her. I enjoyed meeting Rachael and taking her pictures.
